hi, i'm jaysen.
i made this site to compile the things ive done and the lessons i've learned in the past couple of years
my friends and i built atlas to automate tedious internal work.
we hit a $XX,XXX ARR in 1 month, raised $150K in soft commits, and were serving 1000s of users before we shut down.
because we were all working internships, we were forced to move slower than our competitors.
we had a talk and decided we couldn't take on investment in good faith.
summer 2025
i built endomrkts with some other friends to eliminate waste at the end of the school year.
we couldn't overcome the chicken and egg problem.

build relentlessly.
being smart doesn't take you very far.
words get you in the door, skills and work ethic keep you there.
be overcommitted until you figure out what you like.
everything is math.
vibe coding is here to stay.
don't start a startup by starting a startup.
every idea that sounds good is probably not good.
nothing is in your control
find people who believe in your, not your idea.
build relentlessly.
being smart doesn't take you very far.
words get you in the door, skills and work ethic keep you there.
be overcommitted until you figure out what you like.
everything is math.
